My Story
People join The Pleasure Company for many reasons. I wanted a lifetime career, although I did not know, at that time, it would be with The Pleasure Company. What I did know was that it would make me money, be fun, and it would coincide with whatever I decided to do. I had a day job and supplemented my income for the first two years with "Pleasure Profits."
The Pleasure Company was with me when I was single and wanted to play, when I had a day job, through college, when I was married, and while raising my 2 small children. The Company saw me through the heartache of an autistic child and an unpleasant divorce. So I can probably relate a little to your circumstances, whatever they may be.
Initially, I chose to involve myself in selling. Entering year two, I decided to involve myself with recruiting and being a leader. Your choices may be different, but here is how it went for me:
I decided to do 3 parties per week. That would allow me to make as much money as my day job paid for 40 hours. I started with 3 parties: my best friend, my boss’ wife, and a "dovetail" from my sponsor.
The profit from my selling was $7,200 in my first 6 months. Quite a substantial profit in 1982.
I made Unit Director level in 1985, and received the first of many monthly bonus checks over $10,000. In addition to the great bonus money I was earning, I was also earning over $1,500 or so per month at my parties.
In the Spring of 2008, I purchased the Company from my family. This is what we know, this is what we do. I am very happy to continue teaching, educating, developing products and sharing a lifetime of knowledge with our customers and our sales community. I hope you join us.
